  • Play rugby with Tiger Rugby Academy at the University Of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, VA.

  • Improve your rugby skills with Paul Emerick, Ray Egan and Dallen Stanford.

      • Paul Emerick
      • Tiger Rugby
      • Paul "The Cactus" Emerick earned 53 caps for the USA and played in three Rugby World Cups. He was also part of the USA Eagles Sevens team at 17 World Series tournaments and played professionally in England, Italy, Northern Ireland and Wales over eight seasons. Emerick’s 53 appearances for the USA put him 4th on the all-time appearances list for the Eagles, and his 17 tries for the team is second all-time best all time. 

        “I’ve had plenty of ups and downs professionally, but rugby has always been fun and I’ll always be grateful that I had the chance to play one of the most dynamic sports in existence.”

      • Tiger Rugby
      • Ray Egan served as the Elite Player Development Officer for Munster and the Irish Rugby Football Union for almost 7 years. He also coached at the University of Limerick and was involved with the Munster and Ireland A squads on a number of levels, most notably Garryowen FC to National Titles. Ray is currently the Head Coach of Belmont Shore Rugby Club in Long Beach, CA and is excited to be working with Tiger Rugby.

        "Rugby is passion. It's a great tool to have in molding of young players. Technique aside, you can come out with a passion for the game and play at high level."

      • Dallen Stanford
      • Canterbury USA
      • Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, represented the USA on the HSBC Sevens World Series from 2006-2009, including 13 IRB World Series tournaments and the 2009 Rugby World Cup Sevens in Dubai. Dallen has served as Media Manager for the USA Eagles during the 2011 Rugby World Cup as well as the 2013 Rugby World Cup Sevensin Moscow, Russia.

        He is currently the Head Coach of the Occidental College Rugby Men's Team, who brought home the NSCRO 7s Championship this past June at PPL Park, Philadelphia.

12:00PM All are welcome to meet at 1616 College Ave for lunch/pre-game social at Mother’s Museum. See the largest collection of Rugby Memorabilia both domestic and international on the east coast and enjoy a burger before the game. (free - please email us if coming)

2:00PM Mother’s Rugby vs Longwood University (free)

7:00PM Dinner at Castiglia’s Italian Restaurant in downtown Fredericksburg. ($55, includes tshirt, breakfast, and clinic)

Keynote speakers, Ray Egan, Paul Emerick and Dallen Stanford, will give their talk on the Evolution of Rugby in America.

Work with Ray, Dallen and Paul live, focusing on creating space, winning the
breakdown, and breaking the gain line.
